whether weather.

Name a patch of blue sky, own a cloud today,
Catch a ray of sunlight, make the seasons stay.
Paint a brand new rainbow, colour the sea anew,
Stop the snow from falling, make the grass grow blue.
Make the moon rise in the east, make the rain fall up,
Release a storm asunder, store a tornado in your cup.
Play fetch with a pet earthquake, maybe a volcano too,
A tidal wave, a seismic shift, a brushfire or two.
Rearrange the stars in heaven, spell your name out in the sky,
Put a leash around a comet, surf its tail as it streaks by.
Try to tame the ocean, ride the currents and the waves,
Collect lightning in a bottle, let it brighten the gloomy days.
Use thunder as a kick drum, use the wind as a chime,
Keep a sun in your back pocket, use it to tell the time.
Switch off gravity as you wish, fall up instead of down,
Use a supernova as a lamp, clean energy abounds.
Always clean your sandstorm, make your hurricane look its best,
Keep a draught for the wet moments, and a flood for the rest.
Have the world spin backwards, switch the times of night and day,
Name a patch of blue sky, own a cloud I say.
